The conference programme will have a number of parallel oral sessions organised within several Themes as well as poster presentations. Submissions are subjected to a two-stage peer-review process. The Theme Leaders and Scientific Committee will review submitted abstracts to give feedback and determine which will be selected for oral and which will be asked to provide a poster. Authors of all accepted abstracts will then be asked to provide a full paper which will be peer-reviewed. Final peer-reviewed papers will be published by the Institute of Physics (IOP) in the open-access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS).
- Abstract (3 pages) submission deadline: 13th December 2019
- Notification of acceptance: 17th January 2020
- Full paper submission deadline: 28th February 2020
Authors who are selected to produce a poster will be required to mount their posters in their allotted area at the Aula at the beginning of the conference. Presenting authors should be present at their posters during one of the two posters sessions. Details will follow in due course.
Oral presentations will be held during parallel sessions and those authors who have been selected for an oral session will be invited to present their research as a 10-15 minute presentation. The chair of the session will contact the presenting authors in their session to give more details and confirm the exact length of their presentations. Presenting authors agree to share their contact details with the appointed chair of their session.
Presenting authors are required to be in the appointed session room 20 minutes before the start of the session. There will be a person on site to prepare presentations and make sure everything works as planned.
The parallel sessions will be filmed and shared online. If you have objections, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
